I Must Sell This Car By Sat 1/8 or I will be trading it in. Great car for an E36 enthusiast that wants to finish it or drive as is
I purchased this car Thanksgiving of 2009 with the intentions of starting the E36 restoration movement. It is Jet Black w/Sand Sport interior for a '97+ E36 3-series coupe. Car currently has 150,800 miles and is still being driven. Since purchase, I've replaced the shock towers as they were rust perforated, replaced the foggy stock headlights with Bosch Projectors and added a DDM tuning 4300K HID kit, yellow fogs with DDM tuning 3000K HID kit. I also replaced the sagging headliner with '95 M3 back headliner and most of the M3 black headliner trim pieces. The car is lowered on H&R Sport springs with Koni Yellow adjustable shocks, Racing Dynamics front/rear swaybars, brand new RTABs, recently replaced front CABS, solid transmission mount and B&M short shift kit. I added an Alpine Bluetooth headunit and 6x9s with adaptors in the rear speakers.
The car was maintained by myself and Bill @ Bimmerclinic
The Good:
Brand new heater core 12/2009
Updated cooling system with metal t-stat
New Rear E46 RTABs
M3 re-inforced subframe mounts welded
Freshly re-dyed and leatheriqued '97 + E36 coupe sport interior in Sand Beige
Brand New Hankook Ventus Tires on Style 30 wheels
H&R sport springs w/Koni yellow adjustables (will include spare rear set)
Racing Dynamics front/rear sways
UUC Solid Transmission Mount
UUC RSMs
Powdercoated Valve Cover
Cosmos M3 Hood
The Bad:
Front fenders are rusted underneath (will include clean replacement fenders with sale at asking price
Rear control arm buckets are beginning to rust and will need to be welded within the next year or 2
Car has slight hesitation sometimes when accelerating (fairly certain is a vac line under the intake manifold)
Needs black sunroof cassette to match the M3 headliner (currently has parchment colored casette).
Needs brakes (will include brand new brembo blank rotors/Hawk HPS pads with sale front/rear).
