Feeler FS: 1989 325ix 4door 110K

I am helping a friend out on selling his 1989 325ix 4 door auto w/ 110k original miles. Car is black on black stock and thats it. No mods whatsoever. One owner untill 8 months ago, was a Yale proffesors winter car. Car is in nice condition and unmolested. Had recent service with new CA's, tierods, cats and new tires.

Bad: AWD is not working due to bad case, car otherwise runs great with just RWD, blower motor resistor is either bad or corroded. I havent gotten to look at it yet as he is a busy guy but its a nice base from what he has told me.

He is looking for $3200 OBO on it and would like to sell soon.

Pics are not so good but, it seems like a clean low mileage two owner car. I wonder what it would cost to repair or replace the transfer case. It would probably be cheaper to replace with a good used case? Otherwise seems to be a nice car at a fair price!! GLWS

Thanks Tom, yeah replacing with a used unit is probably the best option. Its a nice clean unmolested car, will try to get better pics as soon as I can.

seriously though. i would. i'd offer $2500, but a transfer case will be a few hundred plus install. and its an auto.
