Thinking about selling my 1991 325i sedan in the Spring or sooner.
Here are some details:
Body- The car still has the original paint on the body with the exception of the bumpers and front valance/spoiler which were repainted. There is a small rust spot on the right Q-panel and light rust at the battery box. I am leaving it alone for now just because it so original. The car has a few dings and scratches here and there, but no dents or signs of past body damage. The car still polishes out well. I have repainted the exterior trim with PPG DP primer and SEM trim paint (this system holds up very well). I have had the carpet out of the car and can assure you that the pan is clean...same for the trunk and engine bay! This car is not rusty on parts like control arms, trailing arms, strut housings, sway bars,sub-frames etc.
Interior- The interior is black vinyl with sport seats. The sport seats are near perfect with one cracked bolster. Rear seat is a ski-pass with rear head rests. The beige cloth has been replaced. As an option, I might sell the car with black leather with comfort seats. The car is equipped with premium speakers and a map-light mirror as well.
Mechanicals- Take note!!! Currently this car is powered by a Metric Mechanic ported head M10 1.8 followed by a 240 Getrag and open 4.10 gears. I do have the original M20 parts and might put them back in the car depending on where I go with other projects.
