What could you imagine the resale value to be if he wasn't so "desperate"?

Do any of the SoCal guys know this car or the seller? It would be great to know for sure that this wasn't a scam. I sent an email earlier today, but no reply so far.

                Looks good if it's real.

I also considered purchasing this car awhile back when I first say an ad almost a year ago. I emailed the seller to set up a time and place to see it in person and didnt get a response. This car has been posted for sale on craigslist multiple times over a long period so that leaves me a bit worried about what problems it may have hidden or even if its a real ad.

For anyone that missed the ad...

                            1989 BMW M3
Diamondshwartz (Metallic Black) exterior with Black Leather interior
                            VIN# WBSAK0309KAE33142

                            Miles on chassis: 155,XXX
                            Miles on engine: 52k

This car is my daily driver and is very reliable. It is clean for the most part and would make a great daily driver or restoration candidate. An expected addition to the family has changed my priorities. This is your chance to own an iconic vehicle and one considered to be one of the best of all time. Never thought I would sell it but I don’t have the time or energy for another project with three kids under the age of five.
