I'm not saying that somebody wont be stupid enough to buy it, I'm saying that the car's actual value that is MUCH MUCH lower than that price listed.
so what is "actual value" and how do you define it?

I think it could sell for $10k. I don't know about $15k.. I guess it depends on how rich you are, and how much you want a totally stock, clean E30.

Here's a hint: a totally stock, super clean car will always be worth more than a molested, modified one. Just look at any classic car/muscle car market. S54 swaps be damned. Nobody else wants your modified nightmare..

i have to agree with you here.. i still dont think it could sell for $10k because it has already hit its 100k mile mark. I have seen examples with way less than 100k go for much less. I think the most someone should pay for it should be somewhere between 6k-6.5k tbh..

This Fanboy is 35 years old and has been dealing with used cars for most of my adult life. I would like to know what actual value means to you?

I promise you the people that would pay $10K for this car today will be able to sell it for more than $10K when they do. The people that can't afford to buy a car that will appreciate in value will pay $2-3K for an e30 and sell it for $1-2K when they have molested it.

Wether you agree or disagree that the trend of non m3 e30's is turning towards collector or not, the truth remains that a perfectly stock showroom condition e30 will be worth more to the right buyer than any modified e30 regardless of modification. Supply and demand is what our economy runs off of. If you showed me 10 E30's that are for sale at this very moment that are truly in this condition in the US, then I would agree with you that the actual value is not $10K. Until then it's worth it.

As well, I don't agree with the price. But I would pay it for this car if I had the money. $10K that is, not $15K because you can't find it anywhere else.

I sold this car two years ago to Concord Motorsport for $8.7k with 99k miles!
