have you put a cardboard box under the car to see where it is leaking from? cus thats a lot of coolant leakage to not know where its going. to have to fill your coolant expansion tank 2 times for every fuel up seems excessive. just my .02. -
If I can pinpoint the leak, would you be interested in the car?

Awesome car for $2800. You get a lot of car for little money here. Goodluck"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Clean title 528s with similar mileage seem to go for about $4,500.
This car has a few minor issues, all of which I've disclosed in the OP and wouldn't be very expensive to fix, just time consuming.
I thought this car would have been long gone by now, but maybe the market for automatic e39s is not very strong, I don't know?
Still though at $2,400 this is a lot of car, just needs the head gasket changed which I don't have the time for right now.

bump for $1,900.
Just put a brand new battery in (old one was 5 years old and dying) someone could have a good running car for not much money and a little bit of work.
