I have a 1990 E30 325i four door 5-speed that has a blown head gasket. It would make a great rig for a 24v swap. Here is the overview:
Body and Paint- The car is wearing all original paint in a great color. It has been a driver for 22+ years so the paint looks about what you would expect given that. Bodywise it would do great with some serious PDR (paintless dent repair) as it has some pretty good size creases and dents. The front bumper is cracked. All the VIN tags match, its rust free and it has clean title and no accident history.
Interior- Dash has a crack in it, headliner is perfect, door panels are good, real leather seats are fairly crazed, but solid, drivers seat has a split.. Could use a serious detail, I got it from a friend of mines daughter who was something of a slob.
Mechanical- It was a everyday driver (~160k miles) until the headgasket blew. It will start up and run but will overheat within 10 minutes. It shifts well, goes down the road well, doesn't shake or pull, brakes work well, etc. Everything seems to work (gauges, dash lights, exterior lights, cruise control, HVAC, radio, etc.). It does need a battery as I have let it sit.
The car is located in Richland, WA but I will be coming to Seattle this week. I am happy to bring the car on my trailer however it would have to be paid for before I bring it. I have to pick a car up on my trailer to bring back, so if I bring it over I cant bring it back. I can take Paypal. I will bring it to Kirkland,WA but would deliver it for $1/mile anywhere within 100 miles of that or for free anywhere on my drive out (I-90).
Its a great project/parts rig. I bought it to do a 24v swap and I just don't have the time. I have stored it indoors since I got it.
