FS 1998 Volvo V70R

It's time to sell my wife's daily driver very clean 1998 Volvo V70R. It has a clean title, everything works; AC, heated seats, sunroof, all power windows, power front seats, cruise control, electric/heated mirrors, etc. etc. everything works! All the maintenance is up to date and we have receipts to back it up. Have original keys, owners manual, we even have the original window sticker. Its in awesome shape! The only reason we are selling it is my wife likes it so much she wants to sell her Range Rover Sport and get a newer V70R to replace it. Its got 165,000 on it and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Edit: We are asking $5200

ha, I literally have the same exact car for sale right now over on the volvo forums and craigslist at the same price. I'm getting no action. Good luck with the sale.

I want this so bad. I had a 98 V70 T5 that I sold and I've regretted ever since. The exterior looked exactly like yours except the wheels. But I have projector headlamps in black including the turn signal lights..

If your wife loves this car, convince her to keep it. The newer R's are not bad cars, and more powerful, but much less reliable.

On these R's, all you need to worry about is keeping the AWD system in check (angle gear) and timing belts. My 850R has the same engine, and I'm at 215k. Newer cars are far easier to break, have wimpy trans and are not as easy to fix. Blame it on Ford.

Why blame it on Ford when the major reason Ford bought Volvo was to copy the safety designs Volvo does and incorporate it in their cars.

But I agree, newer transmissions are crap and the best ones are the older ones, 98 and below since they are not too much dependent on electronics.

Thanks for the advice guys. My wife is used to getting new cars every couple of years she has had her Range Rover longer than any of her other cars: Mercedes E55, BMW E39 M5, Mercedes E320, so she is ready for something new. I know she is spoiled:) We are located in Fresno CA.
