I know what forum this is! I also you guys poke around on craigs or just know alot of people etc. The saab forums are dead.

    no verts
    no autos
    no na's
    SPG would be awesome

This is what I'm seeing in my head with Borbet Type A's
These things are just impossible to find!

I've owned a couple SAAB 900 classics, one of them being an '86 SPG. They are VERY cool cars and a blast to drive imo. glwf

They are super scarce now. I toyed with buying one a couple years back, and they pop up on ebay autotrader, now its just nothing.

Thanks a bunch emailing the guy in Colarado right now. Wish I could have gotten that 93 commerative edition for $5k. Sounds like free!

Most definitely. Although I probably will just have it shipped. Any one from around here is going to have rust and that's a no no for me.

I think you have to have the convertible and listen to A Flock of Seagulls- Ran So Far Away to truly enjoy the Saab experience

I too toyed around with the thought of getting a 80's SAAB.. but I heard parts are a pain to find. Saw my first one and my first set of BBS RS's in the movie "paid in full".. love that movie.. good plot.. awesome cars.

I have a pretty nice '87 SPG I'll be selling later on this winter/spring. If you think you'll still be in the market send me your info!

It took forever to find. I found the rear bumper at a junkyard, then almost a year later found a German import car that was being parted out locally where I got the front bumper and wheel arches.

They come up on eBay occasionally.
