        Return from Chump Car bump

I may start to try and develop a roll-bar for verts that is a LOT more affordable than the freakin Hanksville Hot-Rods bar. Lots of us want to do more than just autocross but don't want to spend near $1000 to do so.

I'm aiming for <$300-400 installed for my setup.

P.S. we got 9th place of 120 cars with an early model 325e, and for the last 4 hours of the race it had 5 cylinders since a rocker broke

The BBS wheels were sold on here to a member. I have friends who have RS's for sale 4x100 16x9 (et15 I believe it was?) for $2k if you really want on the BBS train though.

Thanks for the bump Absolutedog, I appreciate it. Your brother is a nice guy, he needs to buy my vert for himself! Hahaha

Just a disclosure you guys, Absolutdog bid on my auction on ebay, saw I was on r3v, we got in contact and his brother is local to me in Florida (Absolut is in Michigan). We were in the midst of working out a deal, his brother test drove my car and all, and then yesterday Absolut scored a hell of a score of an S50'd E30, so he doesn't really need my vert now haha.

Make me an offer, I can always return parts to stock to work on price.

Just be sure to know whether or not you've got an early model shift console or a late model shift console, what the transmission has, and accomodating for any differences if you are swapping it into an 318 like I did.

This new transmission is an early model, with the sheet metal console, and I had to make a bracket to mount the rear of the shift-console to it.

As well, I took out the piece-of-shit revshift guibo, and put in a Febi regular small guibo (since I went with a 325i trans this time instead of an e trans).

NO MORE VIBRATIONS SUDDENLY (GO FIGURE. If I posted pictures of this thing, I doubt anyone would buy another if they saw it before hand....M5x/S5x swap or not with a difference in driveshaft to transmission size.

The 325i transmission I put in has the same mileage as the M20 I put in, the 325e transmission was a leftover from an S50 swap. All work was done by myself and forced_firebird of WOT-TECH (I put the 325i trans in using his lift, he put the M20 into there previously. The 325e trans was cheaper to me before I so I got it instead of keeping the M20/G260i combo together).

Any questions feel free to ask guys :) Goodnight, I'm tired from making hte car work again...next up I may fix the A/C....(buyers expense, I have a complete A/C system available to me in working order, dryer, evap, compressor, R12 lines, everything. Will fill with synthetic R12)

                    Dude, wtf!!!!

The motor in this car was being saved by me for my own car. I want to use my head and parts on the new stroker getting built, but durtyE30 needed to get back on the road.

Jay Trackday is an alt account trying to tarnish my sale for some reason.

Supposed local has this to say...."You will be horribly disappointed when that heap rolls off of the transport. If you did not get it inspected before you bought it, that was a huge mistake. Seen it at track day events and it is just shabby."

I don't know what track days he's seen it at, considering I've been to 3 autocross sessions with the car, one of which I replaced the half-shafts at due to breaking them. Other events I ran, I PAX'd at 45 or better of 90+ participants, in GS and DSP......and since then the car has become FAR more reliable and sturdy, and I have receipts to prove so.

Jay Trackday, I'm calling you out publicly. I messaged you too.

Talk to me in person if you're the "local" who's supposedly seen my car, if you want to talk shit. Stop hiding behind an alt account, because I've sold a lot more than this car is worth in individual parts on here, with no one to complain but the ONCE I forgot to send an o-ring with a gasket kit, and we worked it out still.

Grow the fuck up, or stop talking shit. You're probably that local kid who I wouldn't trade his ghetto-ass E36 for my clean vert and you're all pissed about it.
