    1989 BMW 325is 5 speed TX

I have for sale an '89 BMW 325 is. Zinnoberrot red. Manual transmission. 5 speed. aftermarket clutch is about 13,000miles old. The car will need a little work, but it is in great shape for its age. The body is rust free. The paint isn't perfect but at least it is very presentable. both front fenders have been repainted but they line up really well. the front and rear bumpers have some fixable cracks in them. There are a few scratches and dings as one would expect from a 23 year old car. The air conditioning actually works really well. the compressor was replaced in the last 10k miles or so. The car is on voughtland lowering springs. The struts/shocks are aftermarket. Stainless braided flexible brake lines. e30 m3 control arm bushings. fairly new front control arms and tie rod ends. steering is tight. the car has an aftermarket exhaust that is a bit loud for my taste, but i have a complete stock exhaust that i would be willing to sell for a small additional fee. the car also has an after market chip that likely adds 7 or 8 horsepower. The interior is dove grey leather with sport seats. The leather is in very nice shape for its age. i would rate it about 8/10. I put new odometer gears in the speedometer cluster, so the odometer actually works. the mileage on this car is probably somewhere in the 130-140k range. The engine has had a lot of work done in the last couple of years. the head was completely rebuilt to the tune of around 2000.00 in parts and labor. presently, the engine doesn't run quite right. it has a slight miss under acceleration but it will cruise along at 60 to 70 without problem. the check engine light comes on intermittently at idle and goes away once the rpms are increased. I connected my peak engine scanner to the car and the code that comes up is O2 sensor. it is possible that the converter is in need of replacement as well. The price of 2300.00 is with a stock set of 4 14" bottle cap wheels and tires. (the other two are in the trunk) I also have a really nice set of 16" borbet c's that are not included in the price of 2300.00. These wheels have new tires and there is a receipt from discount tire. With purchase of this car, the wheels are available for an additional 500.00. so, in summary, this is a pretty nice car that needs a little work. the air conditioning and the odometer are in working condition. if you are an internet scammer, please channel your efforts elsewhere. Well, I copied this from my craigs ad. They always compress your paragraphs into this. I was too lazy to separate it back out.:(

I owned this car about 9 years ago and did 90 percent of the work to it that has apparently been un done sence. Unless someone changed the springs they weren't voughtland, they where cup style (i forget the name) from pelican parts and tokiko adjustable shocks. The exhaust was a snap decision I was also never super happy with. Ac was changed over to r134 after hurricane rita because idling for 17 hours killed the original system. The bumpers weren't painted they just faded differently than the car, I know this because I was the second owner and a close friend to the original owner. Someone swapped out the blacked out kiddney grill too. I replaced the clutch and re serfaced the flywheel when I did the brake lines, brakes, suspension, control arm bushings m10 offset shock mounts, reinforced rear shock mounts, short through shift kit and a number of other things that made it impossible to drive on Houston streets. Either way, retarded fun car, I hope the new owner has as much fun with it as I did. Please put the bothers back on, they made that car what it was and were hell to find almost 10 years ago.

Also I paid 3,500 for it when I bought it so that's a great deal even though roughly 2k worth of aftermarket has been removed since. God I miss this car.
