Looking for a clean e30 coupe for an s52 swap

Pretty much as the title states.

    As the title states.

I was recently forced to sell my e36 due to issues with structural rot and am now looking to pick up a new DD worthy vehicle. less than a week before discovering the rust issues I had picked up a rear ended s52 m3 to swap the drivetrain into the e36.

now that I no longer have that car I'm looking to do what I wanted to do originally (swap the drivetrain into an e30)

I prefer Red or Black but I'm really not picky on color. if the car doesn't run I'd prefer it be closer to Grand Rapids than further...if the car is a strong runner I'm not opposed to flying somewhere to pick the car up and then drive it back to michigan.

the weekend of May 18-20 I will be in Helen GA for a national vw/audi show (SOWO) and would be interested in purchasing a car that weekend as well.

    The caveat's:

Car needs to be structurally solid....I DO NOT WANT ANYTHING RUSTY.

I would prefer the paint/body to be in nice enough shape to DD but it doesn't have to be 100% perfect.

I'd prefer the car to be a 5spd.

my first preference is an e30 coupe. I would prefer if it had a LSD but its not a requirement. although I will consider sedans as well if they are clean/well taken care of.

I'm looking to spend $4k max.

    Thanks everyone!

PMed// some what far but not nearly on what you planned on spending and alot of the work has been done.

the only rust that is some what major is in the back trunk area where the jack sits, it has a hole all the way threw but can be easy fixed with a quick weld job.

Check out my car on my profile and the details on my prior postings. Solid runner that can be driven back to Michigan from Cali. Only negative is the price vis a vis your max. $4,500 firm.
