**WARNING 318IS on San Diego Craigslist***

Hey Gents,

So as most of you know, my hobby is all about E30's but today I HAVE SEEN IT ALL!!! This 318IS ad states it has 160k (broken odo of course)but when I ran carfax it had over 320,000 miles. The front dent was minor on the door and fender but the frame rails were tweaked and had bite marks on them from where they attempted to make them straight, The clutch is about to go and it kept popping out of gear... I could go on and on but in all reality we all know what this car is worth.... I just hate people wasting my time with trash.. and yes it is a salvaged title!

The guy selling this car is extra shady. I went to see another e30 he had awhile back and I couldn't get a straight answer to any questions I asked. I know he also has a red 325is vert with a new black top but I can't seem to find the link right now. Watch out!!!

He was asking $3200 when I was there then he dropped it to what you see here. That is still a bit on the high side for the condition of the car..

Sketchy - he says "The registration has been paid up on the car but you take care of the smog." Sounds like he knows it won't pass smog, and is trying to stick the buyer with a non-smoggable car. California law requires the seller to smog the car - i hope any potential buyers know this rule and insists the seller provide a smog certificate.

Shady is an understatement with this guy. I have talked to him and everytime it's a different story about the same thing. In fact after talking with him he is such a tweeker I feel I have should go to rehab. Stay away stay way
