WTB/Socal: e30 Convertible. Max budget $2900 (or so)

My girl and I are looking for an e30 convertible. Any year will do. Doesn't need to be perfect, but must be ready to drive. Also would prefer something with clean body and paint. Already have a queue of cars needing paint.

-Prefer any of the black and red colors (scwartz, brilliantrot, etc). No bronzit and no alpine. But show me what you got.
-Nothing too heavily modded. Will be my lady's car and she no likey the rough ride (yes I set that one up for you....knock it down)
-5sp or Automatic. (though prefer 5sp).

Prefer local, (San Diego) but willing to travel to LA, OC, SFV, IE.

Really my max budget is $2500, but will stretch it a bit for the right car.

Yup. I just hate it when people don't include even a ballpark price. I texted the guy and asked him how much. He just responded with "offer plz." So, what the fuck? I tested the waters and said "$2000?" He got very insulted, told me to go buy a Toyota. I know the car's worth more, but seriously, you asked me to name my own price so I did.

Anyway, I'm waiting for him to put up his own price. Because I sincerely doubt he's going to get anyone calling him up and saying "$4500!"
