The time has come, to sell my classic Mini :(
This is a 1973 Austin Mini 1000 Canadian Model. I acquired this car about three years ago in Wyoming.
Mileage is unknown, the center binions gears arent working so there is no exact mileage. It is stuck at 10,999
It has a 998cc motor, 10" Mamba wheels with almost brand new Yokohama Advan A008's, stock exhaust, has a sunroof
The car has gone through at least one restoration in the last 10 years, the previous owner(s) had replaced the whole interior, and painted it white. Then the owner I bought it from, had it painted red. Not the best quality paint, but it looks good.
The car runs, and drives very well! Car has expired registration from Wyoming, have clean title. Car has insurnace through Hagerty Insurance.
Since I've bought it, I've done quite a bit to the car, here is a list of what I've done:
Replaced door locks/cylinders
Replaced all original bullet style electrical connections, and soldered them (biggest culprit of electrical problems in Classic Minis) EVERYTHING works except the windshield wipers, I've been wanting to buy a new switch but haven't been able to. All turn signals, headlights, brights, radio, everything works. Also replaced old glass tube fuse box with newer modern blade type.
Replaced boot seal, as well as cleaned out any surface rust in boot, and sprayed with undercoating
Rebuilt center binion, cleaned up, and replaced all oil pressure lines. Installed Dynamat on the bulkhead.
Rebuilt the shifter, cleaned out and replaced all bushings and bearings, shifts great now!
Replaced all carb gaskets, filters, intake gasket car runs really well.
Installed a high flow carb filter.
Replaced the upper radiator hose, and installed a new 160 degree thermostat. Car has a very recently replaced radiator as well!
Installed fender flares.
I've done quite a bit here and there, painted the hood, stripped and painted the grille, the list goes on!
Things it needs work on:
Will need the brake master cylinder replaced or rebuilt.. It takes a double pump to get full brake pressure, I've bled all the brakes and has new brakes.
It doesnt like extreme heat, anything over 80 degrees it startes to get. Needs an electric fan in my opinion
There is surface rust on the floor boards, but nothing through, its still very solid.
Here are some pictures:

I love the car, its an absolute blast to drive. Its very much a head turner, I get comments on it every time I drive it. There is just alot I want to do with it, but just can't financially do it, and thats why I'm letting it go! I know someone out there will enjoy it and be able to do stuff to it!
I'm asking $4800 or best offer. I'm also open to trades, but will be really picky about them. I'm looking for a beginners motorcycle + cash.
Any other questions, let me know!
Thanks,
Nick
