E30 Turbo GRM Challenge Car ~1900lb track monster in the works!

    State: Michigan
    Will Ship: Continental US Only
    Price: 1000

A friend and I picked this up about 8 months ago with grand plans of making it into a fun streetable track monster. the car was purchased from another forum member (bimmerfreak)

we originally planned to put an OBD1 M50 into it to get it running and get any bugs worked out. from there we planned to boost/build the car.

Last November we trailered the car from TN to its new home in waterford MI
the turbo engine/trans combo was pulled and a donor e36 was found.

The Donor m50 was opened up and the oil pump nut was safety wired. The motor does still need a spark plug hole re-threaded (we have the helicoil kit for this just never got around to it. we also have a full e36 wire harness for the motor out of a 94 325is mtechnic (we still have the donor car so any other e36 swap type parts you might want can be provided)

we would love to continue building this car but once auto-x season started we realized we'd much rather be on the track than in the garage. Looking to see this go to a good home.

Below is a link to the FS we purchased the car from:

I have to agree with the P.O. this is one of the cleaner e30 shells I've ever seen and the sunroof delete is proper. this is a very light shell and will be a great track car foundation.

Looking for the following price options:
$600 for shell with no motor/trans
$1000 for shell with turbo motor/trans
    $1500 with e36 motor/trans/harness/ecu and the turbo motor/trans

I'm working on hosting current pictures (looks exactly as shown in previous ad except the motor is sitting beside the car instead of in the car) however my work's firewall is giving me fits. I can email them to those who are interested.

Any questions please feel free to ask.
    Thanks,
    Brad

unfortunately not, depending on the state you live in it is still possible to get a title re-issued for the car. We were going to work on that once the car was up and running.
