+1, also pay a professional photographer to showcase your car then you may be able to get that much. Otherwise you only attract craigslisters, highschool kids, and people looking for beaters (read: people who don't or can't pay much money). Put it up on eBay and set a reserve someone will buy it.

If the car is a low mileage concourse car, like you're basically claiming, this is not an unreasonable starting price. The real problem is your sloppy photos, and laziness in following up your teaser with any decent shots. How hard is it? How valuable can your time be, that you can't even give a minimal effort on this?

To be fair, he said he'd take better pictures eventually.

Finding any low-mileage E30 that's been well cared for these days is a challenge, hence the higher (yet justified) pricing. If you purchase a more 'typical' E30 today (read: possibly wrecked/repaired, tired/worn, thrashed on by newly licensed teens, etc.) odds are it will require a nice sum of cash to make it an equal to the OPs car.

To the seller - good luck with unloading it. I question your sanity though ;)

A car is only original once. It only takes one bad owner a year to undo all of the past 25 years of care and pride.

There we go, nice pictures. That's a car I could see getting 10k. Find some mint stock weaves.

Having seen and driven this car a few days ago, I vouch for it 100%. It is basically immaculate. With the few "flaws" being so minor, you'd be silly for stressing over them. It drives nice and tight and feels super solid, like it just rolled off the lot. Comparing it to my 318is was night and day, made me realize how much love my e30 needs.

To sum it up, this car is the tits and any dude would be thrilled to own it.

                            That's a 10k stock e30. Congratulations. Don't take less.

I agree with the previous comments regarding the wheels. Throw some OEM basketweaves on the car and you'll be ready to sell.

The person who is going to buy this car probably won't want the wheels in the pictures on it anyway. You're going for original + preserved as your selling point.
