I just sold mine. It was a cool car to have, these cars should be enjoyed by more than one owner, kind of like a "rent it" the "rent it to someone else". Whoever buys this will be proud to say they owned one of the quintessential cars of our time.

Just FYI, the heat "issue" you have listed isn't an issue at all; all Mk1's with a/c blow heat and air conditioning just through the center two vents; the outer vents are always ambient temperature. Seems weird, but that's how they were made. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Thanks for the info. I'm not much of a vw guy. So alot of this stuff was foreign to me. I'll make sure to change the add.

I had an 84 GTI with a ton of work that I sold and bought back twice before parting ways with it for good. I still miss it
