    83 Rabbit GTI Mint -$4800

    1983 Rabbit GTI

    96,000 miles.

    Motor
    Stock 8v 1.8 Motor in all U.S. rabbits.

    Transmission
    5-speed close ratio gear box, works great goes in every gear. Shifts like butter.

    Body
    Near perfect, no rust, or rot. Car was repainted about a year ago. Couple minor dings and such.

    Interior
    Interior is also very clean
    Crack free dash
    Recaro seats out of a mk2 jetta in great condition.
    No back seat.
    Missing a speaker in driverside door
    Wired up to have a sub and amp

    Suspension & Wheels
    Rokkor Coilovers (pretty new)
    Diamond Racing Steeiles 15" in good condition with stretched tires with good tread.
    Very stiff suspension

    The Good
    New timing belt.
    New timing pulley
    New water pump
    New gas tank
    Fresh PA inspection

    The Bad
    Need alignment (vibration and highway speeds)
    Two tiny paint runs
    Missing back up light cover (Replaced with a clear one)
    Leaking a tiny bit of oil around the distributor. (Quick fix, just changed oil so I didn't want to waste oil to fix it)

    Car is sold

                so awesome. I can't wait till I move out of NYC so I have the space to buy cars on a whim. This thing would totally be in my garage if I had one.

                      Headliner is mint. When I bought the car it did not have one. You could pick one up for under 30 bucks. I have all seat belts and bucks for it. Car is currently in Elverson, PA
