No longer a feeler, and i'm serious about selling my e30 this time around.
I am asking for a $8,250. My previous asking price was $11.5 and it was just a feeler thread.. that wasted much time of mine and i was undecided to what i wanted to do..
I purchased the e30 from a user on this board (Jajou).. he actually was the one who introduced me to e30s.. it was this same exact car that got me sucked into the car scene..
My previous vehicle was a 97 m3.. I totaled that car but the engine and many other parts were still good. When I did the swap the engine had roughly 80-90k miles on it.
This car has been my pride and joy for around 4 years now, but it's time to move on..
When I did the swap I had replaced everything, gaskets, seals, sensors, bushings, mounts, etc.. from engine, to drivetrain/suspension.. everything had been changed.
I replaced the cars 4 lug suspension with my 97 m3 front brakes/rotors and an e36 318ti rear suspension setup.. (the 318ti setup is slightly bigger than the e30s)
During this time I purchased the shrick cam kit, as well as overhauled the vanos system with the Dr. Vanos stage 2 vanos kit. Dr vanos himself actually installed the cam kit and the vanos upgrade (cool guy)
The car over the years has been to several track events and auto crosses, but most of it's life it spent in my parents garage while i was in college.
This vehicle puts a smile on my face every time I drive it, it will do the same for you... The power to weight ratio is astonishing, it feels like a miniature go kart.
While overhauling the suspension i purchased the Koni Track/school kit, this includes adjustable shocks/struts with adjustable spring perches for ride height. Tree house racing control arms, and more..
The K1s i bought new and are still in new condition, the tires on it right now are Falken Azenies rt615s, the most griping/funnest tires i personally have ever owned.
The transmission is the M3 ZF transmission, shifted by a Spec clutch, stage 3 - six puck. The flywheel was a new oem flywheel. I am running a medium case 3.25 limited slip differential.
The car is cooled by a stainless steel Mishimoto radiator (these come with a life time warranty), i have an electric fan but have not installed it yet.. for daily use it is recommended to have one, although with winter coming up it is no problem.
The car is in great working order, but does need some maintenance to be done. Nothing too technical, anybody with time on their hands with little money can make this car perfectly dailyable. I would start with installing an electric fan, refreshing the transmission mounts, as well as replacing the driver side window switch. The interior is in perfect condition, not spotless but for it's 20 years of existence it's pretty damn clean & functional.
the paint for it's age I would rate it a 8/10, people around me rate it higher..
the cars a blast, i can't say much more than that.. I am putting the price low for a quick sale, please don't waste my time, and serious offers only, i entertained to many unrealistic offers in my previous feeler thread and it was a waste of my time. I am firm on the price so please don't try. This conversion was done right, it cost me around $15,000.00-$20,000.00 to do the swap, please respect the effort that was placed into the vehicle..
It's not for everybody, it is not the most comfortable daily in the world, but if you want a bat out of hell, you've found it..
Enough talking, and more pictures.. here's a link to my youtube thread and some pictures:
