Shortly after posting the ad on here, I received a deposit and had no choice but to hold the car for the intended buyer until he came to pick it up a week later which never happened since he backed out of the deal.

It's unfortunate we couldn't make a deal. Your friend seemed very serious and was ready to come buy it.

Only properly sorted cars deserve a premium. There are tons of resprayed cars that look great in pictures with out even a timing belt change documented thinking they should get the same $$.

Ebay is the fairest way I can think for selling the car. Best of luck to you.

TY! It's going be hard seeing the new owner driving away with it. However I'm confident it will be in good hands. Doesn't hurt that it's staying semi local too. So chances are I might see it occasionally.

I thought that car looked familiar. Sad to see it go. Definitely one of the cleanest at the Socal meets. reserve not met at $6500?

Sad to see, one of the original cars from the e30 scene in Socal., parting ways from the enthusiast.

See you around Robert, hopefully you stay within the family.

Struck a deal outside of ebay with a set of stock weaves.

Thanks Edwin. I'll be around and you'll certainly see me in another e30 sooner or later... . I've got a soft spot for these cars... no question about it!
