    Feeler: 1990 535i 5-speed

Yeah, just seeing if there is interest, I might have convinced myself into buying another e30.

1990 535i 5-speed (extremely rare) creeping up on 270,000 miles
    Island-Green Metallic
M-parallel replicas wrapped in Pirelli Nero (500 miles on them)
    UUC short shifter
Freshly upgraded front brakes (like, I just did it 3 hours ago; rears will come tomorrow). EBC Green Stuff Pads, ATE OE disks
New subframe bushings (two weeks ago)
Euro trim (just got 4 days ago)
Umnitza Angel Eye projectors with HID 5000k kit
    H&R springs/Bilstein shocks
Euro clear tail lights and front signal markers
New control arms and bushings (from a 750i)
    EAT chip
    Hamann replica pedals
    French fogs
Progressive tinting on all windows (5%->50%->75%)
a/d/s front speakers (right side is off/on, most likely from a loose connection from the headunit)
Alpine V-12 amp (for subs, which are non-existant; audio would need a complete overhaul)
Interior is being improved, should be done in a week or so.
New spark plugs (yesterday), previous plugs had NO signs of oil, excessive corrosion, or anything else. This motor runs amazingly well through all gears and rpms; doesn't burn oil, doesn't rumble around in idle. Its just another sign of proof that M30s are insanely durable.
Paint is very very good for a 16 year old car, hood and fender were repainted recently.

    $5500?

    Not a completely updated picture:

I wouldn't call them "extremely" rare. Very nice looking and some good upgrades, but at 270k miles, even an M30 is getting old. I would say $4k tops, maybe even $3500.

These are cool cars, doubt you'll have too much problem ridding yourself of that one. Tried www.bmwe34.net ?

iirc only about 10% of 535i's came in 5 speed.

See if you bought cars that didn't run you may not be having this juggling with your desires problem, you'd just have a few cars sitting until you were sure on something.

I'm sure you could get around 5k in AZ to a kid that wants a nice BMW, I'll ask around.

I hate green and I've got wood for that car. M-pars, 5 speed, big six - talk dirty to me baby.

Good luck Jeremy - and ditch the sig, for real ;)

5% of US imported 535s were 5-speed. Usually thats considered pretty damn rare.

                Thanks for the comments guys.

$5500 would be a firm price if I decided to sell it.

not that its not a nice car but i would be wary to pay 5500 for a car with 270k miles.

nothing against high miles if its been maintained, my winter e30 was purchased with 240k
