OK, first I clearly didn't know what I was talking about, since that didn't work now I'm thread crapping? I said what I needed to say -and I felt that it's in the interest of the community that it be said. GLWS, for your seller's sake.

Feel free to post turbos in this condition for $70k.
And it was thread crapping regardless from if you have 18 porsches in your garage.

It would be in the interest of the community to respect the rules.

Stay cool...I have seen a lot worse. There was barely a touch of thread crapping here. Most people are just stating the obvious...the majority of R3V users do not have this kind of money. Many are still under 21.

          i am cool.
i did not see anything in the rules about different "touch levels" of thread crapping.

and stating the average age of members here is not thread crapping. it is very informative for me to hear that supposedly most members are under legal drinking age in most states of this country. also the assumption that their age corresponds to their financial ability is quite interesting.

however stating that there are comparable 997 turbos for $70k is thread crapping and on top of that has yet to be q.e.d.

Interesting. Why the love for the tiptronic? And yes, I've driven both types...a lot. I have the same complaint about both variants. When in auto mode, they both hang out in a gear too damn long when I take my foot off the accelerator. However, much better than the transmission in Ferraris.

Both are okay for the wifey to drive though.

Not really...unless their parents are loaded. Most people under 21 are either in college (dirt poor) or working more than one job to pay their bills and E30s. There are not too many Mark Zuckerberg around.

bump for an insanely well detailed car. PDK is the transmission to have on modern Porsches. a friend of mine is a wholesaler and has been struggling for months to find a buyer for a manual Cayman S - everyone is looking for PDK. good luck with the sale.

as you can see nmlss2006 has a definitive outlook on the Porsche market
as he has been looking for one himself and knows exactly what they are worth.
I am sure he is about to pull the trigger on one and is sitting on a pile of cash.
maybe he will even shoot me a lowball offer and educate us all how it is done.

in the meantime $69999k OBO (for everyone but nmlss2006) ;-)
Hmmm. I was about to say i'll take it, but for 69,999,000 i think i'll just buy myself a few 63' GTO's instead. GLWS though

i guess when you're selling cars in that range 69.999k and 69999k dont make too much of a diff ;)
