PNW parts car for someone who's interested

This isn't something I'm selling, a friend of mine found it and told me about it. Unfortunately, I don't have the cash to pick it up, so I thought one of you PNW guys might be interested.

It's an 89 325iX, 2-door, 5 speed. Diamondschwarz with grey sport interior, heated seats, 15" weaves, this thing is fucking loaded. The previous owner spun it into a gaurdrail, and completely destroyed the front end on the passenger side fender, and it's the same story all the way down the side to the pass. side rear quarter panel, which is equally smashed. The other side of the car looks good, and the interior is very nice. Engine only has 143k, and runs strong. I didn't get a price from the guy, but he said he'd sell it for a reasonable offer. It was given to him buy a client free and clear, and he had intentions of having it all repaired, but it's far beyond that. I can get pics if anyone is interested.

How is the windsheild? Jfunk has first dibs on my money, but I would be in on a GB for that and a few more goodies.

It's not repairable. You'd have to replace most likely the hood, front bumper and rear bumpers, the front valence, the front fender, the door, the iX flares on that side, and the entire rear section of the quarter panel that's smashed in. Not to mention all the internal unibody under the hood, and I'm pretty sure the frame is fucked, the pass. door hardly closes. This is a parts car, flat out.

Only good exterior parts on the car are going to be on the driver side, which means only that side for things like tails, grilles, etc. Interior, drivetrain, and motor are the moneymakers on this car. As far as I could tell, the dash and the rest of the interior was just peachy.

where in oregon? I dont need a parts car. But although they've been spoken for already if those fall through I'd be interested in the windshield, and a nice uncracked black dash.

I don't know if I need 2 parts cars.. but if it's still around in a month I might pick it up. kinda wish I'd seen this one first though (shipping a car from the east coast is a PITA!)
