I have a freshly pulled carfax/auto check report on the car, clean as a whistle!

We were set back on the fenders and paint due to a mistake by Bavarian Recycling. I hope to have that taken care of and have spotless fenders on the car early next week. Did I mention the vin stickers on the fenders WILL match?

I also updated the first post to reflect what parts I bought used and what is new. Most of it is obvious I am sure, but I think it's important information if anyone is on the fence.

It's also fairly obvious that I spent good money supporting R3v members and sponsors building this car.

Thank you! It's changed a lot since the last CarBeQue.

Depends on how you go about it. Ideally the car would be CA Bar'd and you would need the stock exhaust manifold and exhaust system and maybe a stock-ish intake system. I know the Cali boys could give you more details.

You'd have to change the cat, injectors, MAF, intake boot and tune to get this ready for the BAR. Also, if the charcoal canister was deleted you'll have to replace that as well. Perhaps giantkeeper can confirm whether the car has this or not.

                Excellent car here folks.

                  Thanks Danny!

Injectors are stock, if tune matters you could easily swap in another DME (wait, I have the stock chip too) and the charcoal canister is in place.

                  Edit->

OEM exhaust manifold, catted OEM M3 exhaust system and oem boot. That's really not too bad!

And also, the 3" MAF. Not too bad at all!

Fenders are en-route (for the third time) and should be painted this week. Installed and new photos sometime next week.

Awesome car! How much weight did the spare tire cut out save? Do you hear more noise?

I don't think the tub even weighed 20lbs once out. Its hard to tell if there is more noise since I have poly rear end bushings and the exhaust is pretty loud.

I love that I can see the diff when I am looking at the back of the car, rather than a saggy old man sac :D

                                :-D

Fenders come in today. Purchased paint and clear over the weekend. Prep and paint should happen this week/weekend. I hope to have updated pictures soon.

I am also ordering new HID ballasts and bulbs. The old setup isn't firing correctly and it's a janky ass brand that I don't know well so they are being replaced.

                                * Edit - Well fuuuuuck me! Fenders came in dented up. Three shipments over a month period and still can't get it right, I'm done with Bav Recycling. Taking my current fenders to a body guy to see if they can be saved
