WTB e30 near midwest area

On the hunt for a strong running e30
in or near wisconsin would be nice but i would be willing to travel the distance if the right car came about.

i have one..

i purchased this 1984 318i a few months ago, right now sanding has begun as the paint was a 3rd rate spray bomb. has some body rust, under body in the usual places ie jack locations, floor pans. the plan is to fix all this soon. mechanically sound, i still drive it primer hood/boot and all. i like it, but after the paint, probably finding something else to play with, another e30 maybe with the six cylinder. i am close to st louis, but let me know if youre still looking in a month and she should be looking pretty good.

Wisconsin seems like a perfect place for a mint 89ix. It is an auto but then again you can't drift in an ix anyway! PM me if interested and we can discuss details further along with budget. Car is in Utah.

Recently joined as I will be selling mine in the next month and will likely put it up here. I'm in Chicago but drive up to Wisconsin often. It would be a great opportunity for the right person as it is mechanically excellent, but needs some cosmetics I don't have the time to spend on.

1990 325i convert auto, triple black, 127k miles, no accidents, never had a major mechanical issue, been in same family 22/23 years, serviced at correct intervals, garaged winters/daily driven summers. great running car.

Look in minneapolis craigslist, also Madison. There's E30s in some of the outlying areas, too, you have to play games with the searches to uncover them. But they're out there. I bet late summer early fall would be a good time to snap something up.
