      It was due for STAR smog, and it passed the sniffer. Smog shouldn't be an issue.
      But this car is not BAR legal, could easily be made a BAR legal swap. I had my last e30 BAR legal and it was not that long or a hard of a process. If the buyer is a local CA buyer, I can have the car smogged.

        It would have to be converted back to OBDII so it could be BAR'ed, right?

        I see that hoseclampthingy going on on the VC breather and the lack of a coil cover, so I'm assuming here, because you don't state whether it's OBD I or II.
