        Still looking for the following:

I'd like to purchase a 1991 318is or a 1989-1990 325is w/ 5-speed. Within 6 hours drive from the DC metro area. Stock engine that'll pass emissions test. Prefer any color other than black, bronzit, or bright red. If a 318is, prefer cloth interiors, but I can be flexible. Non-smoker (wife has asthma).

I'm looking for a fairly clean, no rust car that will be used as a weekend toy. It doesn't have to be a perfect, garage queen/show car. Cash buyer, looking for an honest $4k - $8.5k car. Will pay market value, depending on its condition/service history. PM me if you have a car that might fit what I'm looking for. I am a car enthusiast and want the car to enjoy and maintain properly for many years. Thanks!

Good luck man, patience is all it takes to find what you're looking for. And you seem to be looking for a very specific color/year/model combination which will be increasingly rare, even in that area. If you're out to find an IS, what you might wanna do is try and find an 87 pre-facelift (a non plastic bumper IS) which you should be able to find easier than its 90-91 equivalency. Finding an unmolested plastic bumper IS thats not black or red and that still has an m20 in it is going to be a tough call. But they're out there!

I'd sell you my 87 325is, original everything, cardinal interior, I bought it in Herndon, VA, stock clean, alpine white, but i hauled it out to Seattle lol.

Good luck with you're search, this man Craig and his List are your friends. Just stay away from PA, MD and WVa cars cause of salt, also Jersy and NY cars seem to be rusted pieces of shit as well. The metro area should have what you're looking for sooner or later, if not try looking in the Triad area of NC. Usually there are some yuppie Duke students who have e30s for sale.

          Cheers!

            Thanks ebox86. :)

I have a 4-day weekend coming up (this Friday though Monday) and I hope that something pops up for sale. I'm still looking for a 1991 318is or a 1989-1990 325is w/ 5-speed. An '88 with plastic bumpers would do the job, too. Preferable not too far to travel from the DC metro area. Stock engine that'll pass emissions test. Prefer any color other than black, bronzit, or bright red. If a 318is, I have a strong preference for the cloth interiors, but I can be flexible. Non-smoker car (my wife has asthma).

I'm looking for a clean, no rust car that will be used as a weekend toy. Not necessarily a garage queen. Cash buyer, looking for an honest $5k - $8.5k car. Will pay market value, depending on its overall condition & service history. PM me if you have a car that might fit what I'm looking for. I am a car enthusiast and want the car to enjoy and maintain properly for many years. Thanks!

                        Looks pretty clean Dandandk.

Doesn't really match his color or distance preferences though.

                            Me too

I'm looking for a project that is the right price ($0 - $4K) (hehe wishful thinking eh?), 4 door, manual. Not very picky after that, because as far as I've seen, it'll need new paint, interior reconditioning etc. It really just needs to match the price of the work that will need to be done.

I've been emailing that guy in amherst. Nice guy, sounds like an okay car.

I've been searching for an e30 for quite a while now; stalking the forums and Craigslist.

I'm a bit confused as to why you're using my WTB thread to advertise that you WTB, too. It would be good form to start your own thread. And best wishes on your search. :)

I probably wouldn't have said anything, but I thought I'd throw my two cents in for the one guy in Amherst if anyone else was watching.

It does seem that people have been putting cars on here that don't match your specifications, but might for me so now they know where to find me!

Good luck to you too, I'll post if I see anything for you.
