    You mean the crank ;)

And he is right. If you have a 2.7l or 2.8L making those numbers to the wheels it would be record breaking, a feat not obtainable by people who specialize, let alone a random builder.

I'd have to agree those numbers being calculated (estimated) crank hp/tq

well the guy is not any "random builder" by any means. He told me he had companies calling him offering him money to build engines just like this one for them because they were never able to acheive these numbers.

but please guys, if you think those numbers are crank hp, well then thats great. But please lets not get in a discussion about it here. People are welcome to come and check the car out and test drive it if they seem interested (i am not going to let tire kickers just come and drive the car) and if it feels slow, then thats fine, but i think that wont be the case by any means.

I am by no means saying that the car is slow, those are excellent numbers for that setup.

This is a forum, you will have input on FS threads because people here do not enjoy false advertising. Would you be pissed if someone sold you something under false pretenses?

LOL, sorry that made me laugh. Now youre going too far. He put together a good setup with well-engineered parts. Exactly what Im going to do. But any one of those companies that make those parts could put together an engine that would put this one to shame.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

As always, if you have a negative comment or a question for a seller, take it to PM - the FS forum is not for posting debates.

Any from this point forward will be deleted.

Good luck with the sale - this car is beautiful, and well worth the asking price.

and like i said. if i am false advertising, then check out the car and drive it.

i am just telling you what the PO told me about the companies. He said he had it at quite a few track event and supporting vendors were really interested and took his phone number.

                  Dude.

I sold my 1993 honda accord with 274k miles on Ebay for $620. A guy in OK bought it. Flew out here, drove it back.

This car - is worth SO much more than my old honda.

Man up, get on a damn plane, and get to know your new car with a road trip :)

                    well said.

let me just say i bought my m3 from texas, and my e21 and this e30 both in NJ and I love the drive back.

Plane tickets are way cheap, and this thing gets great gas mileage on the highway. I did like 850 miles on not even 2.5 gas tanks which is good for something this modified.

I drove from atlanta to boise for my moms e36, and elkhart indiana for my 540i6.

Il-> seattle is nothing. Just buy the god damned car and drive it home- its the best bonding experience you could want.

                      Nice car & awesome numbers.

I definately cant drive it back. Illinois to Seattle is a long way. I might be willing to ship it though.

Day 1: Mokena -> Lexington, Nebraska
Day 2:Lexington, Nebraska -> Salt Lake City ( you could maybe stay with bimmerphile )
Day 3:SLC -> Boise ( stay with me, or SLC->Seattle [totally doable if you go 90 most of the way])

                          Three days 2200 miles.

You have snow tires, so if you drive carefully, you'll make it through Wyoming.

give me your zip code and city and i can get you a estimate.

The shipping company i used a while back was door to door service and full insurance. Took about 7 days to get to california from IL. It also was cheaper then lots of comapnie who had locations where you had to pick your car up from (usually around like 50-100 miles or even more depending on your location)

Nice car either way, the MAF could be adding all the extra power. Nice numbers and good luck with the sale.
