Hi guys.
This is very painful for me to post, but I believe that it may be time to list my baby for sale. The ONLY reason I'm listing it is because something has popped up that I'd love to buy. I would love nothing more than to keep this, but realistically it just can't happen.

Bad:
-The car has rust. I’m not entirely certain how much, but it’s a fair amount. Bottom of driver’s door, rear valence, battery tray, rear valence, etc
- Will need starter soon - Car will start, but sometimes it takes turning the key 4 or 5 times while you listen to the starter just spin. Very strange though, you will go for 2 weeks without an issue, then all of a sudden it will do it again.
- Clunk in front suspension. I believe the camber plates are to blame
- Oil drip from front timing cover/oil pan gasket. I planed to address that this winter when I finished putting my daily E36 318 back together.
- 2 small cracks in dash
- Usual E30 glovebox problems
I purchased the S52 in April from Metric Mechanic. I discovered later that this engine was pulled from a wrecked E30 that they had rebuilt a couple years before, but hadn't really been driven much. After the car was wrecked, I'm under the impression that it again sat for a year before I picked it up. When I purchased the engine, I did all gaskets minus the head gasket, just to ensure it was good to go. I will try and dig up the pictures of the cylinder head when I pulled the valve cover - it looked brand new. This engine has never let me down and it pulls very hard. I built this car to do hoonigan things and that's what I've done. I won't like to you and tell you it's been babied, because anybody with an S52 car who says that would be lying. I take care of my cars and make sure all maintenance is up to date. It's seen 1 autocross other than the general driving that I do on a daily basis.
The wheels pictured are not included. The car will come with bottlecaps. I will try and think of everything I can think of as time goes on. I'll keep this thread as updated as possible as I know I'm forgetting things. I will also attempt to dig up any receipts I may have. I should have most everything in my email, but not 100% sure.
I really cannot explain how much I love this car. It's been a crazy 3 years since I bought it. It's now turned into a very reliable, very fast and fun daily driver, hoonigan machine. I had it on the dyno a couple weeks ago and it made 231hp/225lbft.
I'm asking $6,000. I'd prefer a local sale, but will ship if the buyer arranges it. I feel as though my price is very fair with all things considered. I don't have to sell it, but as I said, there is another project that I'd love to jump on. I'll work on getting more detailed pictures of the car up as soon as we have a decent day outside.
Thanks
