    91 325ix Auto Sedan, FL

Hello, I have a 91 325ix that I have no time work on or available funds for that matter. I picked it up on trade a couple of years ago. I have a clean florida title for the vehicle. The cluster shows 142k which I believe to be accurate. I pulled the cluster to because some of the indicators were not working. I installed a good circuit board in the cluster housing and never got around to installing the cluster back in the car. I have been able to look under the car, so I have no idea what shape it's in. I have moved it a few times under it's own power in the yard and the drive train appeared to work properly.

Things I know it will need to make the car street able are:

Fuel tank and pump/ sender assemblies (tank is full of rust)
Radiator and coolant system overhaul (timing belt also)
Right rear caliper becomes frozen when vehicle sits for several days (possible others, haven't moved vehicle in a year)
    all four tires.

I'm sure there is more that this vehicle will need, I will do my best to answer any questions in a timely fashion. I took several pic's including that VIN if someone want's to carfax it.

I really don't know what the car is worth so for the sake of forum rules I will put $3,500 OBO I might be open to trades parts, motorcycles, etc. I'm pretty much open to any offers just keep in mind you will have to trailer the vehicle out of here. It shouldn't be a problem to get the car moving under it's own power to drive up on a trailer.

Vehicle is in Melrose, FL 32666

I will put some pics here and a link to the rest are here: http://s690.photobucket.com/user/srf...?sort=3&page=1

You never see an ix in fl. 3500 seems way way too high for a car that can't even drive away though. Just my opinion though! Glws :)

Thanks for your input. How much do you think the vehicle is worth as it sits? I hate to let the car sit like this, but I really don't have time to work on it. I think it could be restored to a clean driver for not too much considering it is an ix and at the end of the e30 sedans.

I wouldn't pay more than $600, and that's if it has easy title. I've bought quite a few for less.

That's too much of a hit for me. Yes I have a clean FL title in my name. If the car is really only worth that much then I will just have to hold onto it, maybe fix it next summer fall if I can find the time.

Fix it up and make way more money! It's just a hard sell when someone has to tow it away.

But think about it, replace the rotors, change the fluids, replace the gas tank, new tires, drive it around a little; you'll put less than a grand into it, but then at least you could get around 3 for it (and have a working car you can use). I'd offer to help but you're a couple hours from me :(

That's cool. Maybe I will do that. I live/ work in Jax now. So i'm only in melrose a few times a month. Which makes things more difficult. I will probably have it towed to work in a few months and see what it really needs.

Car has to go, Dad's tired of looking at it. $1,000 firm is the lowest I can go.

That's a fair price. If you were in CA I would take it.

yea you might want to get it at least rolling, some nice used tires, and maybe see if she turns. maybe a trip to pick and pull to get a used battery. It would be worth your time. I would also be advertising this as a 'mechanics special' lol, stick with that and you'll be able to retain the 3k price. Especially an ix in decent exterior condition.

I appreciate your input, but the reason I'm selling the car is because I don't have the time to work on it. I have too many other cars right now and nowhere to store them. I'm sure the car is worth much more then I'm asking if it were drive able. If it doesn't go soon I might list a one or two others for sale and move this one inside.
