    FS 1988 325is - Lower Alabama

    ***SOLD***

    ***SOLD***

For sale my 1988 BMW 325IS, 5-speed manual, odometer works and reads 230,000 miles. I bought it a little over 6 months ago. The previous 2 sets of owners used it as a trailered race car. It is being prepared for SCCA STX class rules. Power windows and sunroof work great.

No power steering, no ABS, no AC, no airbags, no radio, no speakers. "Because racecar."

AC blower and heat work. Leaks a little bit of oil from the front seal. About 1/4 quart every 1000miles. The windshield is cracked at the top middle, the mirror covers most of it. I am planning on having that fixed within the next couple of weeks.

The paint is not car show quality, but shines up very nicely with a wax. The top coat of paint is ripping off in places on the passenger door. Some little dings and dents scattered. Never been wrecked. Put in BMW leather sport seats to keep from sliding around in the original vinyl comfort seats. The leather is ripped in a couple of spots. The carpet was cut by some previous owner to run stereo wires around. Floor mats hide it nicely.

I've seen the car in person, runs and drives great with an awesome sounding exhaust. Definitely a great car for someone who wants to get into E30 and save themselves the trouble of modding it up...GLWS...
