FS: 92 325IC Alpine/Navy Austin, TX - New Year, New Price

1992 BMW 325IC Automatic. Original Texas car, no accidents, rust free body, all panels original with VIN Stickers still intact. Purchased from forum member Schnitzer318is back in August 2011. Original Alpine White paint (with the exception of the right front fender repainted to fix a dent from something falling against the top edge of it) and original blue leather interior (with exception of rear seat back which was repaired to fix the typical sun damaged top edge) and clean dash. New black German cloth convertible top. Top had previously been converted to manual operation and I had the top storage lid professionally converted to manual operation using correct release and latching hardware (easy to raise & lower). Original 14 x 6 Alloys.

Approximately 180K miles. The odometer broke on the second owner and timing belt wasn’t replaced until it was too late. Schnitzer318is purchased the car and replaced the head, timing belt, tensioner, water pump and thermostat. He also replaced the Front & Rear brake pads, rotors and sensors and had the front fender repaired/repainted as part of my purchase and I have done my best to maintain it well (see history below).

All Books/Manuals and keys. Receipts going back to 2001. Currently has Blaupunkt Manhattan CD player with aux input. Comes with original radio with unlocking code.

    Work performed during my ownership:
    Date Description
9/2011 Convertible Top, Straps, Cables and Front Top Seal
9/2011 Cap, Rotor, Plugs and Plug Wires
    10/2011 Tires
11/2011 Temp Sensors, Air Flow Meter
4/2012 Rear Shocks and Rear Shock Mounts, Tie Rod Ends, Control Arms and Bushings
5/2012 Transmission Mounts and Flex Disk
    8/2012 Valve Adjustment
5/2013 PS Reservoir and Low Pressure Hoses
    6/2013 Alignment
7/2013 Right-side Motor Mount, Convertible top storage lid converted to manual operation

    Needs:
    • Front IS Lip Spoiler missing (I have a new factory spoiler w/clips in box ready to paint and install that comes with the car)
    • Right fog light lens cracked (a used replacement comes with the car)
    • Cruise control doesn't work
    • As mentioned, Odometer doesn't work (I tried replacing the gears but that failed too)
    • Driver’s side power door lock not fully functional (link to what I believe needs to be done - http://www.unofficialbmw.com/e30/int..._lock_faq.html )

Reason to sell: I need to start driving to work more often and I really don’t want to expose the car to the elements and traffic every day.

New Price $5,000 OBO. Clear title in my name. If interested my name is Rick and I can be reached at 512.677.5737. Car is located in Austin, TX. I can help facilitate shipping.

    Thanks for looking.

I saw this on Craigslist while poking around the San Antonio Craigslist. The car looks amazing. If I didn't already have an e30, I would have bought it. GLWS on an amazing car.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm wondering if I should just hold out and try again in early spring. I haven't tried E-Bay and not sure I want to go through that experience.

Do you have any pictures at night of how well or not well the Blaupunkt Manhattan CD player backlighting matches with the rest of the interior?

If you could do that, that would be great. Also, if you can take a daytime pic as well and lastly a pic showing how far it sticks out from the dash.

                Thank you very much.
