    FS: 1995 BMW e34 540i 6 speed socal

I am posting this for a friend thats in socal.

Up for sale is my babied mint 90k miles 540 I 6 speed manual trans. If you are an enthusiast/collector you know how rare this is. It's green on tan the motor was replaced by bmw under warranty back when it had around 35k miles so the motor realisticly has 60k miles this car has all service history reports even it's original window sticker I also overhauled the cooling system recently. This car is a beast and the only modifications are a muffler delete which sounds amazing not loud not quite it's moderate. Interior is mint registered and smogged. Come down see the car make me an offer. I will not take low ball offers I'm asking 9000 which is very fair considering this car will be worth double in a few years! Call but txt before at 323 573 747two again if your not serious do not waste our time

        I don't think a e34 540i will be worth 18 grand until perhaps 2050.

I don't think he meant it in a literal term. More of a selling point that these older BMW's are gaining value.

            nakasil

Was the engine replaced because of the nakasil recall?

If so, would it expire at 100k? (as in another 5,000 miles)?

In a couple years a 540i 6 speed M-Sport could be worth $18k, but this car is missing that all important M.

              1995 production number (US):
              540i 6 speed - 1500
              540i 6 speed M-Sport - 139

That's what ///M badges from e-Bay are for.

Cool car nonetheless. 6-speed V-8 sedan rocks.

Does anyone know if this sold?

I've got a '95 540/6 with just under 100k. Wondering if the market will support 9k for an older sedan.

Also, why does my '95 540/6 not have a ASC button?
