    FS: 2003 330Ci in SC - $11.5k OBO

Love my car, but it's time to go. Baby #2 makes this necessary.

In the interest of not being redundant, here's my Craiglist posting, which has all the relevant info:
    http://greenville.craigslist.org/cto/4426619926.html.

Also have the aftermarket wheels for sale as well (separate):
    http://greenville.craigslist.org/pts/4426631210.html.

Feel free to give feedback on price as well - you won't hurt my feelings. After researching Edmunds, KBB, Autotrader, and the like, there is a HUGE range in prices. I think my car is at the top of the range because of its low mileage and life in the garage. You are welcome to disagree. But, I am also listing the issues with it, to be sure there are no surprises.

    Any takers?

I would say you're high on price.

For comparison, I bought my '02 330Ci with 5spd, sport, premium and cold weather packages, with H&R suspension and 134k miles for $7500.

I think you're looking in the $8-10k range. It's nice low miles for sure, but I think your asking price is steep. GLWS!

Agreed on the price. The car looks really clean and the mileage is really good. But as desertbmw stated, the e46 is not in demand so that is going to affect your asking price. IMO, I think you should come in at $8500-$9500. But GLWS anyway.

This is good feedback. Thanks for the honesty.

What's weird here is the discrepancy between private party values from edmunds (6400-7100) and kbb (11000-11700). Autotrader shows cars for sale in the kbb range with much higher miles than mine. How much is "low mileage" worth? 1k?

Ya it is kind of high the Edmunds seems more realistic. Look @ what e46 m3's go for now days starting from rebuilt titles $8k-10k to high mileage $11k-13k and clean ones anywhere from $14k-high 20k's. I plan on selling my alpineweiss on cinnamon soon for around $14k.

                Price dropped to $10.5k

Fair enough - price dropped (crap - can't change title). Make me an offer!

                  Hey man,

Nice looking e46. 54k miles is definitely very low. However with e46 m3 prices dropping, its hard to swing prices with non-ms. I think 10.5 is reasonable...but I wouldnt be surprised if it sold for closer to 9.5.

Good luck with the sale! She looks very clean!

Thats almost 3 times the mileage as OPs car...not very comparable.

GLWS. Most people looking to pay high dollar are looking for manuals. But as someone who owns a 330ci, I can tell you that when you're actually looking to buy one, clean sport package coupes are tough to find.

For anyone thinking about picking one of these up, you won't be disappointed. I love mine to death. My brother went out and bought one too. Then my Dad drove it and went out and bought one (which now gets driven more than his brand new A4). These cars are extremely underrated, and you don't realize just how good it is until you drive one every day. It's a ton of car for the money.

Yeah, these sites definitely estimate to a different drummer. Re: low mileage value, my experience has been not much, except for on paper. Some buyers don't want to pay the premium just b/c it's "low" for the year, and there's no easy way to tell if those were "hard" or "soft" driven miles. Bottom line is a car is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it.

Nice car btw - my son had the sedan and loved it - glws!

I agree with this completely this statement. I bought my son a 330xi manual. Its such a great car for the money. Yes, the e46 has some common issues, but these are known and not that expensive, especially if one is handy. There are a significant number in the USA and parts should be available for a long time.
