You keep changing the rules. you keep changing what you want for how much. Now its gone to an s52 swap in an m-tech California barred. Your expectations are wild. You say these owners are too attached to their cars but most of them are looking for a fraction of what they have in them. 15000 might be a lot for an e-30 but I think it wont buy the car that has everything you want.

Whoa Barry????? first off yes that is what i am looking for! doesn't mean i am going to find it right away. I have seen two of them pass me in the last two months one was vert hard top with 70k on s52 for 11k and ca bar'd and another white for 16 with my own rims ca bar'd. so you can't tell me that is unrealistic. again i said that is what i would want. and most people who are showing me cars don't even have cars up for sale they just seen 15k and wanted to see what they can get for their baby so yes people are attached to their cars asking for a lot. i am not strictly looking for that! i am open to others but for my 15k i would like that in the description of the car. idk why you seem to be so offended by this and be rude for no apparent reason. some cars are worth 15k in a different unique way such as a mtech vert with hard top with only 100k miles flawless interior and exterior.

also s52 swap is around 6k mtech around 3k and paint 1k cant tell me that 15k is crazy. i am not asking people to sell me their car that's not for sale i am waiting for someone who thinks it's time to let go and wants to post it for sale.

41 watchers, 9 bids. Its at $1226 right now with 3 days to go. If it gets close to my reserve I might shut it off so it sells, but I might not. Depends where its at and how I feel at the time. Im not hurting for the cash so I wont let myself get lowballed.

aww, i would expect it to be little higher by now... you better keep that thing if it doesn't come to at least 7k. I feel Ebay has been tough on ppl lately i have seen some nice cars stay on there for awhile and not get asking price but also location of the car plays a big role as well people who don't want to spend the 1500+ on shipping

Yea no way Im selling for 7, or even 8! Im still getting my gameplan together to get it to the BAR, I have another year before its really needed though.

If I was busier at work I wouldnt even be thinking of selling. Too much damn time looking on the net gives me ideas.

Theres a few that fit in your requirements but arent local. I say, have a local go check out the car or get a PPI done. If the OBD1 swap is done right than it shouldnt be a problem.

"Buyer might have to handle smog, unless something is worked out."

What do you mean by this? Buyer might need to get it smog checked? (You do know that legally the seller is responsible for the smog, right? just FYI)

Or do you mean the Buyer might need to get this thing BAR accepted/certified?

                            Thanks

he means both, because of the swap it needs to be bar'd to pass smog unless you smog under the table. which i am assuming he meant he can smog it under the table for one more year and the rest of the time is up to the buyer. that's the only reason i can't jump on it. it's Obd2 and all i've learned is that OBD2 is a bitch and a lot harder to pass bar because of it.
So unless you have a buddy that smogs cars...

Ahh bummer, though I expected as much. I'm really not willing to deal with the DMV either, not to get a car through the CARB approval process at any rate.

                                Thanks for the info.
