@8ball you want me to carry around a chicken 24/7 to be part of the e30 community.... Lol. I'm not trying to prove anything, some people are judging the car like its at a bmw lot in 1991. This car wasn't on Craigslist before its reconditioning, if you or anyone else were wondering. If someone chooses to buy an e30, invest their money into it to bring it back up to standard and resell it, why would you knock them down... Just like any other forum, if you don't have anything positive to say, do say anything. I give great service and I have people that can vouch for that.Comment

No clue what the chicken comment is about but yes members of this community scrutinize in order to fish out people that are just putting lipstick on a pig to ask another two grand. You keep saying that the overspray is easily fixable and that we shouldn't scrutinize it so hard but I wonder why you haven't just cleaned up the overspray and taken new pictures of the car. That shows the lack of attention to detail and general lack of care that sets off alarms for some of us who wonder what else was half-assed and possibly covered up.
I don't feel I've said anything negative even up to this point and I hope someone purchases the car that's actually going to care about it and enjoy it. GLWSComment

The chicken part is related to as a thing needed to get into a club/frat house, or as you said the "e30 community" like I have to prove myself for you. The car isn't a pig, everything on the car is OEM BMW. I'm not asking an outrageous price, the market price for these cars stock depending on condition "mainly RUST" go from
$3500-$7500. I have it listed and it is negotiable. I just posted the car 2 days ago... If I have time, I will fix it, some guys don't mind and aren't picky pointing out simple things. People like you need to go to a brand new dealership. Point blank, the car is for sale, if your interested, contact me via text message for any questions, if your not interested, leave the thread alone, I've sold two of these with no one bashing my thread until now. Haters.Comment

If we could only have these kinds of frank conversations with bankers and politicians in this country we could make some real progress towards fixing all that is wrong!
A guy here locally bought what he thought was a really perfect '98 only to have the rusted out rear floors that were cleverly hidden fall out on the road!'90 zinno 325iSComment

I wasn't hating. But I could.
You said it yourself, "E30 community." Most of these guys have been here for some time. It has been my experience that this is group of pretty honest people. They post as members of a community. Information is up front. Questions are answered when put forth.
I think you arrived on the scene as a sales rep. Which is fine. Just thinking if you had lead with that you might have had better footing. This is an informed community. They ask. Reasonable to expect that.
As far as me hating. Not at all. We all have to make a living. I feel you tried to open a business here without an invitation. Maybe you could have gone to the owner or admin first.
Thing is I am neither admin or owner. Just a member of a pretty dam good community. I don't determine doctrine or policy. I support ANY direction the governing body takes. If I am out of line, I apologize to the board and the community. I think you are trying to start a car "shell game." You are not supporting member. Just a flipper. You have earned all the scrutiny.

I'm not even going to acknowledge your ignorance. Just going to leave it at that.Comment
