Pleased with the interest in the car r3v has generated so far. The price is still flexible, and trades are welcome.

Would love to use some of these funds and get the ball rolling on my 2002 project or to bring over more neat Euro cars for r3v to enjoy.
It's still OBO, and I really won't be offended by offers or trade inquiries.Comment

I cannot afford one yet, but I'd buy this in a second if I had the dough. Trade for a Eaton supercharged cabrio?
For future import decisions, the motor doesn't make a bit of difference on wether or not I would purchase this. Bigger motors are a dime a dozen. Good luck. I'll keep dreaming. :)Originally posted by Andy.BWhenever I am about to make a particularly questionable decision regarding a worryingly cheap diy solution, I just ask myself, "What would Ether-D do?"Comment

As far as the engine, everyone who has expressed seemingly serious interest in the car has either been thikning of swapping the engine or simply hasn't like it for some reason. I personally think that the M40 is a perfectly serviceable engine that would me a great DD. But then again, how many people still DD nice E30s? I know I do, but I also seriously doubt that I'd buy a new car, so it makes sense for me.
Anyway, the 320i touring work is underway, the 324td touring is coming eventually, and maybe a 325ix touring will join the bunch sometime in March. I only mention this as half the people who got in touch with me wanted the 320i/324td and really didn't seem to care about this car. Sad, but just for fun, here is the 320i.

Well, for future reference, if you find a technoviolet (or really any color) 316i or 318i, that has little or no rust and relatively clean, paint and ding-wise, I would be very interested in trading my cabby off. I'm on the hunt for a fuel sipping kid and grocery hauler.Originally posted by Andy.BWhenever I am about to make a particularly questionable decision regarding a worryingly cheap diy solution, I just ask myself, "What would Ether-D do?"Comment

This is the least expensive touring I can find for sale in the country, and I'm open to fair offers/partial trades.Comment
