NO clue but im getting pissed, the link from the seller was asking if this was the same car or something, when i clicked on the ebay link it brought me to the sign in screen for ebay so i thought the link was just messed up and closed the browser. When i went back to the auction all the bids were goneComment

Well I guess I'm the lucky one then. Talked with the owner for a while tonight. If its anything like he says I think I got a pretty decent deal.Originally posted by MR 325Damn, I'm shocked it didn't sell for more.SM 19 - Serial Destroyer of Cars

I know everyone was interested in what it would run.
14.45@95.56mph was fastest ET with 2.15 60ft
14.76@98.25mph was fastest MPH
I did 7 runs at Dragway 42, its kinda a shithole, but not very busy. First two runs were 15.1 because I did like a normal street start and babied it not wanting to stress it until I knew how it was gonna behave. Then got progressively more aggressive. 2K launch, bog. 3.5K launch, bog. 4.5K launch bog. 5K launch, little bog but not bad. Finally got the balls for a 6K launch and was pretty good. Tires just don't have sidewall or width to help me out with launch.
Because of the gearing could end run at top of 3rd, but found fastest ET by shifting to 4th about 1000ft or so I guess. Above 5500rpm or so its losing power quickly because of the small turbo. But from 2K-5K it just screams.
Runs were made on Azenis RT-615s, didn't even check or lower pressures, but probably 35 which is what I run for autoX so far from optimal. Never did a tire warmup or anything, wouldn't help much and don't want to beat on it too bad.
Needless to say I'm pretty damn happy, I got a hell of a deal.SM 19 - Serial Destroyer of Cars

I can't say I'm a fan of the whole 2.93 diff swap. A lot of turbo guys do it but I just don't agree with it. I'll bet you would have done better with a 3.25 or 3.46 in there. Regardless of this, congrats on the car, glad to hear its doing well for you.Originally posted by rsafierI know everyone was interested in what it would run.

For sure its very very tall. I'm still getting use to it on the street since my is had the 3.73s I keep on shifting up way too soon. 5th is now a freeway only gear. As its going to be an Autocross car, the ratio happens to be close to perfect should never be a reason to need 3rd (redline is 68mph in 2nd). Even with a 3.25 would need 3rd due to how quickly it gets you to 60mph. Plus traction would be more of an issue.Originally posted by MR 325I can't say I'm a fan of the whole 2.93 diff swap. I'm pretty sure drag radials or even if I mounted autocross r-compound would have brought it to a low 14. the 3500-5K range of 2nd gear was spinning the tires down the track so definately loosing time there.
Really went to get an idea on power.
So with that MPH should be about 200rwhp. I'm sure there is more to be had because I know it accelerates better with part throttle on the freeway then full. I just might have to buy the VEMS I sold to my buddy back, or get another one. RRFPR is nice stopgap but full adjustability would be nice.SM 19 - Serial Destroyer of Cars

And a bigger turbo so he can actually rev the car up...Originally posted by Ritalin KidI would have gone with a 3.25 diff or 3.46 as well. 14.76@98.25mph is barely a second over stock times. Slicks or no slicks... with the right tuning you should be able to get into the mid 12's.Comment

There are a couple guys in the FI 1/4 Library on BF.cm with 10-11 sec cars. mid 12's shouldn't be that hard to achieve with the right tuning. Of course.. if the car has never had any internal work done to it, just a turbo slapped on it I wouldn't attempt such a feat.Comment
