Word on the street (190revolution.net) the cars been beat on quite a bit.
so what, that motor was built to be beaten. Do you think most e30 m3's are driven lightly? They're not meant to be. This mercedes is virtually the same car as an e30 m3 with 4-doors and a mercedes badge on the hood. The car is sweet and I would personally love to own it. I have driven a 200k 190e 2.3-16 extensively (original motor) and it pulls hard, has good compression, and feels as tight as can be. Don't let mileage or internet heresay fool you. These cars are built to last
16v 190e has been one of my dream cars for a long time now.
The only thing that has held me back is the sheer cost of ownership. Parts are rare and super, super expensive. Not a car many people can afford to beat on. Makes the cost of e30 M3 upkeep and rebuild seem like a honda.
I know since my friend Yan has had the car it has not been beat on. I hardly see him driving it. There is another Cossie on there from Indy that is like that. Show me which one you are talking about?
Regardless, the car is 5k. With almost complete extra engine and a slew of other stuff. Don't let the naysayers dissuade.
