Not just yet, when it dries out there will be pics and video. As it sits it's pretty neat, EDC works, almost no rust at all (drivers door seam) & a very tidy interior with only two electronic features inop.

It's also quite a handful in the wet, and never before has a police officer glared at me in quite the way that I saw yesterday without pulling me over.

I plan to bring it to the CP meet this Friday, so you could see it there.

The 324td gets about 32 in mixed driving, with the highest tankful being 35 and change, and the lowest 28. The most important contributor to efficiency is torque at low RPM.

The 318i seems sensitive to temperature changes but averages about 29. Low MPG was 26, and high being 33. It's the sort of car that needs to be driven with an understanding of the limited power at hand.

          Efficient enough for you?

May well be the last chance at the 318i. Speak up if you're interested.

Ah! I've just kept my TX cell # over the years. I've been here in the southeast a long time now, just hate changing numbers.

Well my Alpine coupe is up forsale with a potential buyer in 3 weeks. .....Now the question is buy your blue 320i touring or a 66/67 ford fairlane? Im torn..................

Go for it, E36s are easy to find, M21 powered tourings with rebuilt injection pumps and turbo are not.

I guess nothing surprises me on r3v anymore. But I am more than slightly disappointed by the lack of serious enthusiasm for them.

Good question. I like that style Fairlane, but it really depends on the engine. Both will be projects, and both are likely to appreciate. The tipping point for me would be that if I had a Fairlane I would start dumping too much money in to it, whereas the other option is just your basic E30.

That is very true. I had a 67 fairlane 500 2 door fastback 25 years ago and crashed it (i have nightmares of that car since then) ...........but i have never owned a touring e30.

No idea, I am not an auto shipping company. However, I do have at least one contact in that realm who could make it happen or give some sort of realistic quote.

I also believe when my old E28 was sold/shipped via open trailer to FL it was something south of $600. FYI, I did not contract that shipment.

Very basic research indicates a range of $700 to $1200.
