Seriously, the rust isn't at cut out parts and replace, but is quite manageable with quality filler. My personal preference would be LabMetal, which I may well do if no one picks it up before the new year.

Still surprised the others haven't moved. I flew up, picked up the 318 and drove it back to Nashville with no problems at all. Car exactly as described, and sure it's the case with the others as well.

Yeah i've been meaning to write up a quick road trip/intro thread with some random pics along the way. Just got the car all registered today, so it's finally actually legal to drive.

Nothing much planned yet, compiling a little list of part numbers for trim pieces, blower and ps lines. There's a good local M42 for sale too, so I may just go ahead and grab it. Hard to beat having a spare motor for $450

I'm interested in the m20 touring... was really looking for a bronzit 87 is but that touring might fit the bill.
