    1990 E30 M3 | Zinnoberrot / Schwarz | SOLD

First and foremost, this is not my personal car and I am advertising it for a close friend of mine. Here is a little bit of history on the car with details to follow…

He had originally purchased this car with the tentative goal of turning it into an EVO III "Cecotto" clone but ultimately decided to stop a bit short of that. Mechanicals have been gone through which include but are not limited to a new rebuilt 2.5 Turner Motorsport stroker engine. Mild suspension modifications were made to give the car more stability and better handling while not lowering it too much. Nearly every mechanical component has been cleaned, plated, or tended to in whatever way was needed. He took the opportunity to address nearly everything down to rebuilding the original BMW “infared” radio and interior electronics for originality sake. Overall, the car is a great looker and offers much better reliability along with Evo III performance figures. The perfect opportunity for an enthusiast looking for a legendary car that he or she can drive, modify, enjoy or hold for investment purposes without worrying about destroying the collectability associated with an equally low mileage example.

Included in the sale will be a fully documented record book since the start of his ownership and through the restoration/modification listed in the ad. The car is an original California car that is entirely rust free. Underside of the car is in great condition with nearly all of the factory undercoating still intact. Also, the car passes CA smog with flying colors for the local buyers. With that said, given the age of the vehicle itself, things like minor cracks in the dashboard, minor cracking of the clear on top of the rear spoiler which is too common, a missing tool from the toolkit and missing original owner’s manual are all things worth noting.
Current owner is not a collector, rather an enthusiast who also owns an E36 M3 and air cooled 911; with storage space, and plans to invest into the 911 as reasoning behind the sale of his beloved E30 M3. With that said, he is motivated to sell as he has plans for the 911.

This M3 has been responsibly owned and properly maintained since new. Adult Owner, Non-Smoker. No warning lights and everything functions as it should. With the way things are nowadays in the E30 M3 market, you truly do get what you pay for. Nearly anything and everything that could be gone through on a newly purchased E30 M3 already has with this example. If you are an enthusiast looking to get into the market without taking on a project car, this car is for you. You are getting a lot of car for little money considering the engine build of this caliber reaching nearly half of the asking price.
Please only contact me if you are very serious, in the market, and ready to buy this example.

Absolutely stunning....just one question....is it me, or does the coolant gauge have a white needle instead of red?

                    I saw that

I'm guessing its personal taste? Much like the stereo balance switch (whatever you call it) being on the wrong side.

Most likely was replaced at one point and opted for a white needle instead?
