I bought this car in 2006 as a very stock 325i and have slowly built it into a very capable track car since then. Build thread: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=161970 It has been an outstanding learning tool at the HPDEs that I've been using it for and its abilities let me surprise a lot of guys in their Porsches! I have lately been spending my track time and money on Chump racing and this beauty is just sitting in the garage. I don't have to sell it, so no reason to lowball, but I would like to let someone else enjoy it if the price is right. I'd also consider a trade for an e36 m3. Price is $10k obo
Driveline:
-late '95 S50 engine with approx 105,000 miles (odometer matches engine mileage)
-TRM chipped
-Rebuilt G260 trans by Drive-gear. about 2 or 3 years old.
-3.25 limited slip rear end is an excellent match for the S50 and the gearing works beautifully on most autocrosses courses as well.
-newer Spec stage 2 clutch
-Massive sport kit brakes http://www.massivebrakes.com/brake-s...front_300x22mm
-stainless braided brake and clutch lines
-AKG DTM shifter
Suspension:
-Complete Ground-Control setup with adjustable konis, shortened housings, and camber plates
-strut tower bars front and rear
-UUC Swaybarbarians sway bars
-all urethane bushings throughout (can be noisy)
-corner balanced and aligned by Speed Syndicate in St. Pete, FL
-TRM 15x8 wheels (available with either Continental slicks or Hankook RS3 tires)
-e36 M3 steering rack
Body/Chassis:
-mileage unknown but very good condition
-late model valences front and rear
-paint recently buffed and reconditioned - looks nice!
-2 Sparco bucket seats with G-Force harnesses
-rear interior removed
-VSR roll bar
-front carpet is still in place and pretty beat
-Pretty rare BBS rear heckspoiler
Cons:
-The wipers and headlights have recently become a bit intermittent - I'm 95% sure its a dirty contact somewhere
-rear windows have not worked since I've owned the car
-front and rear valences were spray painted when mounted on the car and could probably use a respray.
-there is a slow battery drain when the car is off. It will kill a battery in about 3 days if you don't disconnect the ground wire.
-Hood was repainted. Its not perfect, but looks 1000% better than what some of these pictures will show
I'm sure I've left things out. Feel free to ask questions.
