    91 318is barn find $3000

price drop $2500 someone get it asap please

I've been out of the e30 loop for a couple years, but I've had more than my share of e30s back in the day when you could buy one for 500 bucks and fix it as you go, I consider myself very fortunate. I first saw this car in 2007 broke down in a trucking garage but it wasn't for sale. Last summer i finally had my chance to buy a nearly rust free e30 forgotten about for 10 years and I did.

    This is what I've gathered:

The car broke down in September of 2005 and was towed in. Here the car sat in a heated garage with concrete floor for just shy of 10 years until I found it again covered in boxes and trucking parts in the same spot it sat in 07. I found no compression and intake valves bent, due to a thrown chain, found a broken camshaft in the trunk. I replaced the m42 with one from a 92 at 170k, drained gas, flushed lines, replaced pump, new clutch disc and release bearing, she fired right up.
Now its been months and I haven't had any extra time or money to mess with it, the car runs and drives but is not ready to be a DD

    things i know it needs:

ac compressor which i never reinstalled is in the trunk
    window switches don't work
    alternator in op
oil leak from filter housing, have gasket and new filter
    pass door seal shrunk
    control arm bushing
drivers seat has tear and stuck in recline mode
small seepage from fuel line on top of tank
    no radio
    whine from p/s pump
glove box latch laying in glovebox

interior is really decent, one small crack in dash, cluster seems to work fine, clutch good, lights work, glass good, brakes work fine and have good meat, but have surface rust, tires brand new but back years ago, body would be great if it wasn't for a light deer hit, fender, hood, and bumper took the hit. lower valence isn't perfect. pass side paint slightly faded compared to drivers from way it was parked.

now for the rust discussion, i consider this e30 to have very minimal rust, underneath is very clean, most brake and fuel lines look impressively trustworthy for age of car, small amount under battery tray, 2 spots on rear bumper, the worst of it is on the trunk lid by the license plate bulbs.

I have good money in this car and am not trying to give it away nor be unreasonable. This unfortunately will be my last e30. I have money that should go elsewhere. clean pa title, car located in northeast PA, found a notepad in the glove box that doesn't close, accurately recording gas consumption by date and mile leading up to the engine failure. I've done my best to describe the good parts and the bad thoroughly any questions feel free to ask.

asking price is 3k, also included if wanted is the original m42 pulled needing head, free run of an 85 318i 4-door parts car in poor shape, and what i believe is a new set of front and rear mudflaps still sealed in bmw package with hardware. just want to be done with everything. photobucket added.
