E30 TDI Sedan Kit

I bought this car a couple years ago with the intention of building a RWD TDI. I have gathered a solid shell, complete ALH engine with accessories and harness/ecu, bell housing adapter, and transmission. You would still need a clutch set up. Motor mounts and a custom built drive shaft will be needed.

The car is a 1989 325i with a blown auto and 169K from Va. Cirrus blue with grey leather comfort interior. Still runs and drives.

The engine is from a 02 Beetle that had ~125K. I bought the Beetle running and driving and parted it, so it is know to be good.

I can answer any questions you may have about carrying out this pipe dream of mine. I have plenty of pictures of the car that can be emailed.

I have about $3,000 into the parts collected, and I'd like to get that (or close)back.

You know, a diesel E30 is pretty nice, at least in factory installed form.

I almost did this instead of my 24v and figured I actually wanted to drive my car instead of spending years building it

40 mpg should be cake to pull off with this swap. With some mods and a tune, running a tall ratio diff would be much greater.

What bellhousing adapter and transmission do you have? Kennedy with the toyota trans?

It is a Quicktime bell housing, along with a F-body w/c t5 transmission. Its from a v6 which has TDI friendly gearing.

The euro cab in the background is not for sale.
