Hard to believe this has'nt sold. Seems very reasonably priced with good feedback from people who have seen it first hand. I have a feeling that if you were local, this would be getting buffed in my driveway right now. Hard to justify time, airfare, and shipping on a car I don't need ,but I'm trying.

Wrong coast. Have a friend that would totally buy this had it been local.

Any idea what this would need to be registered in California?

I think people usually use OBD1 because the fuel plumbing is easier.

Fuel plumbing isn't the reason people convert to OBD1. There is a fuel rail you can actually utilize from an early model 528i E38 that has a built-in fuel pressure regulator (which my car has), so you dont have to fiddle with a remote FPR attached to your frame rail or any of that business

What would be needed for complete BAR would be every emissions related component from the E36, and have it be present on the E30. So SAP, exhaust components and a whole lot of mess that honestly isnt worth it in my opinion.
