Only owned this car for about a year. Bought it from a mechanic who works on german autos. Did all work himself (he was no original owner) and have only ever had one issue with it since purchasing. (replaced master brake cylinder)
Anyway - car is great. Totally a daily driver. Everything works, even AC, power windows, sunroof, etc. everything.
Doing the math from the previous owner - timing belt has about 5-6k on it.
Just passed smog with no problem as I am in process of renewing license plates.
Paint on some of the body molding (fiberglass?) is showing age and fading, the rest has held up pretty solid. Needs some love with the scratches and dings but nothing too offensive. No rust. From what I can tell, it has been a california car all it's life. According to the records that came with the car it was purchased at BMW of Ontario California.
Car is total stock. No mods have been done. Only aftermarket things I can tell is the steering wheel looks like it was pulled from a 5-series maybe? and the stereo head unit is not original. The premium speakers are though. :D
Passenger seat has some vinyl cracks and wear, seams need to be redone or just swapped out for new seat. all other interior is pretty top notch.
Couple small cracks in dash.
I have tons of pics so just ask for what you want to see and I can send them.
Asking $5700.
Let's see what happens here. Tempted to go to Bimmerfest today and just stick a for sale sign in the window.
