1989 BMW E30 325is - Concours winning, one CA/AZ owner
Sorry I haven't been on lately. I've been in Monterey for the Summer (Car Week & Octoberfest) and sold the car.
I really tried to get my car on BaT but they were really stuck on a $13.75K reserve so I ended up marketing the car myself. I put new 15" Euroweaves, tires, brakes, timing belt and listed it at $19.5K. It sold at full asking price to a CCA member - in 3 days.
Don't undervalue your E30s! Clean, one owner cars are worth 1/2 an E30 M3 and I think my pricing was more than fair.
beautiful car! You were only asking $15.5?? I should of just paid your price!
$15.5 + timing belt & tensioner + new brakes/pads + new OEM Euroweaves + Yokohama 205/55X15 tires almost = $19.5K. It's much easier to sell a car when it needs nothing but the difference in price was about a wash for me.
The new owner received the car yesterday and said he had it up to 110, reportedly smooth as glass. :D
