I've been pretty lucky with shippers but I have the solution to your problem - I'll drive this car to your doorstep (for expenses).

Thanks ZM. Considering I bought the car in 1990 for $20,729.13 from Peter Pan BMW and have maintenance expenses of $62,234.69 (all receipts), I'd say it's a good deal too!

I would be interested , but you might not like what I would do with it....s54/6spd all mods from underneath, and recover seats....that being said, maybe somebody here might want the m20 pull out? maybe ssaylor willing to discuss price? 160k miles, 3 panels resprayed?? but, before just assuming its a little overpriced, I would like to see detailed undercarriage pics.

This car is hard to place. It is an unbelievably well-preserved driver. The s54 route is so much fun, but you'd never get your value back out of it. If it were something you were set on keeping, I'd say go for it. Otherwise, there's tons of other cars that are more befitting modification.

I would bet almost anything your sig used to be one or two modded e30's and a 135i. If so, you've really stepped up your car game. Glad to see things are going well for you.

My primary residence is AZ. My wife was in the outside lane of a 2-lane left turn. A 535i was next to her in the left, left turn lane. As they went around the corner, the car hit some sand that had washed over the road and she lost traction. The car's rear end swung out sending the front left into the right rear of the 535i. Very low speed with minor damage to both. Good news is it was an all BMW accident. 😮
